HANDMADE JEWELRY by ANNA SANTANGELO in NEW YORK, USA.
Born of a childhood spent between California and Sydney, SANTANGELO’s designs evoke a mood of universal sensuality. They are talismans for freedom, hedonism and nostalgia, inspired by club culture, surf movies and the natural world. Now based in New York, SANTANGELO’s pieces are each carefully handmade using pearls, shells, glass beads, precious metals and stones.
MATERIALS
All SANTANGELO pieces are handmade to order in an effort to create production that does not lend to excess or waste.
All SANTANGELO packaging is 100% recyclable, biodegradeable and compostable.
The kapok filling inside each jewelery box is organic and entirely compostable. Kapok is an extremely soft fibre found inside the dried seed pods of the kapok tree. The kapok tree also requires no human cultivation and irrigation.
All printed material is made from 100% post consumer waste and printed using plant based inks.
Our beading line comes from a small company in California. It is both zinc and heavy metal free, constructed of micro woven metal alloy wires and plated with sterling silver. Its nylon sheath is derived from renewable sources and can be recycled.
All SANTANGELO pieces are shipped out in 100% recyclable padded mailers using upcycled newspaper and labelled with compostable shipping labels.
